Finally visited the Humane Society

          I finally got to visit the Randolph County Humane Society for the first time. I met the president and the vice-president.  They were very nice and welcoming and willing to do whatever they could for me for my paper.  They vented about some of the people that come there to try to adopt animals and some of the people that drop animals off.  They let me take pictures of the shelter and I even got to play with some kittens. I had a lot of fun and learned a lot of things about the shelter that I didn't know.  More dogs brought to them are transported to other no-kill animal shleters than adopted straight from the shelter.  They are no longer accepting cats. They have almost no room for them to be taken in and have a dream to build on the their shelter and make more room for them. I even supported the shelter by buying a hoodie with the profit going towards the shelter.
